Hi, I am Graży - the face behind

I am a cross-border illustrator, designer and visual artist active mostly in Germany.
Born in Warsaw and studied there at the Academy of Fine Arts. I live in Cologne for more than 20 years now. I develop infographics, visualize facts and figures, draw maps and design icons of places and locations. I love to dress up data in attractive and impactful images.

I always start my projects in the classic, manual way - drawing with the pencil on the blank sheet of paper. I love to use bigger surface - minimum A3 - and cover it with various sketched elements that somehow reffer to the subject. Having the stylistic in mind in further step I usually pretty quickly jump into digital translation of my sketchy visuals.

Creating mostly vector drawings, is Adobe Illustrator my tool of choice and I love the workflow of building elements based on regular gemometrical shapes. However, intuitive drawing in Procreate, which I quite often use when designing illustrated maps corresponds to my very true passion for painting.
